As I get older, I've started to worry more about my skin. I had a terrible bout with acne when I was in high school, but grew out of it - hopefully my kids will have an easier time than I did. But, I didn't want to look at my own face when I was growing up, let alone take care of it, which likely contributed to the problem. As I got older and started to be able to bear to look myself in the mirror, I realized that I should take better care of my skin.
Once you've graduated away from grabbing the nearest bar of soap and going to town on your face, there aren't many reviews of men's facial cleaners out there. I have combination skin, greasy on my cheeks but dry on my neck and forehead, so I've got to use fairly gentle cleansers or risk the dreaded acne breakouts and dry skin.
